In 2020, we restructured ZEN Energy in a move about resetting what we stand for and restating who we are. Last week we launched our new look and feel and celebrated with those who share our vision and are a special part of ZEN Energy’s future.
We celebrated with the launch of a book written by Ross Garnaut AC, Director of ZEN Energy – RESET. The book focuses on how the COVID-19 crisis offers Australia the opportunity to reset our economy and become a renewable superpower. So it seemed serendipitous timing to RESET our brand too!
Not many people know – but ZEN stands for Zero Emissions Now. We know that this is a BIG statement. All of us at ZEN believe that we need to start the transition NOW, take steps every single day to get closer to zero emissions.
With a renewed purpose to lead communities into a zero-carbon world, Anthony Garnaut, CEO of ZEN Energy, presented the new ZEN brandmark. The brand is alive, inspiring and makes us want to take action. The trigram (the E in ZEN) is an ancient symbol from Eastern philosophy, representing harmony and creativity. It tells of the three parts of our natural world – the sky, the water, and the earth. These are where we draw our energy. Real energy that powers Australia. And can continue to do so long after we have left.
