Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS)
REPS Explained.
The Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS) is a South Australian Government energy productivity scheme that incentivises households and businesses to save energy whilst minimising costs and carbon emissions.
How it operates?
Obliged retailers deliver energy productivity measures to households and businesses, with the types of initiatives determined by the Minister. Retailers decide which offers and incentives to make available to customers, which may include service discounts, complimentary products, cash rebates, or vouchers. While a range of approved options exist under REPS, not all are offered by every provider, and availability can differ depending on the measure.
